Putting Maine First Tour: Day Three

It was great to be in Hancock, Washington, and Penobscot counties for the third day of our statewide tour.

From Hancock to Washington to Penobscot, I had another wonderful day on the campaign trail!

Hancock County

I started Day Three of our Putting Maine First tour in Ellsworth with a breakfast stop at Flexit Cafe — where we held one of our first Supper with Sara events — followed by a canvass launch at one of our field offices! I’m so grateful for everyone who’s been hard at work getting out the vote all across the state.

Washington County

In Roque Bluffs, I hosted a roundtable discussion with veterans who represent each branch of the armed services to hear more about what we can do to better support Mainers who’ve served our country. As Speaker, I worked to improve veterans’ health care and expand job training and educational opportunities, and I will continue fighting for our veterans in the Senate.

Penobscot County

We wrapped up day three with a get out the vote drive-in rally outside of Bangor. Despite the rain, it was an amazing night, and I’m so grateful for The Ballroom Thieves and The Mallett Brothers Band for their incredible musical performances.

There’s just one day left on our Putting Maine First tour. It’s been so much fun doing one last tour across the state before Election Day, and I’m so thankful for all of the support we’ve received from Mainers

Together, we will win on Tuesday.

Keep up with the rest of our tour across all 16 counties by following along on social media: @SaraGideon on Twitter, @SaraGideonME on Facebook and @saragideonme on Instagram.
