Putting Maine First Tour: Day Two

I had a great time visiting York, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, and Knox counties yesterday!

From York and Sagadahoc to Lincoln and Knox, the second day of our Putting Maine First tour was a huge success.

York County

We kicked off day two of our tour in York County, where I visited local businesses in downtown Saco — including Fernleaf Bakery. We enjoyed pies from Fernleaf at some of our first Suppers with Sara last year and it was so great to be back!

Sagadahoc County

I visited with small businesses in Bath and heard from the owners of Halcyon Yarn and the Sweet Shoppe about how they have adapted during COVID-19 and what support they still need. Maine’s small business community deserves someone who will support them in the Senate.

Lincoln County

I joined volunteers and supporters in Damariscotta for a canvass launch! I’m so grateful for everyone who’s been knocking on doors and calling voters all across the state. Getting out the vote and making sure every Mainer casts their ballot is how we will win this race on Tuesday.

Knox County

My last stop of the day was in Knox County, where I visited the Knox Health Care Clinic. We must increase access to quality, affordable health care — especially for Mainers living in rural communities. In the Senate, I will always fight to support rural hospitals and clinics.

Keep up with the rest of our tour across all 16 counties by following along on social media: @SaraGideon on Twitter, @SaraGideonME on Facebook and @saragideonme on Instagram.
